My introduction to Tele Dentistry was meant to be.  I can’t say it just sort of happened, even though that is exactly how it all started.  As an associate dentist, I was practicing at more than one dental office, while I was looking for a location to open my own dental practice.  With a couple of years under my belt, I reached a stage where I was ready to branch out on my own.

One of the dental offices asked me if I was interested in taking on new patients with flexible hours and if I was okay traveling to homes and businesses.  It was the first I ever heard the phrase ‘Tele Dentist’.   Naturally, I was absolutely interested! Especially since it meant I was going to be able to grow earnings with unlimited potential.  I downloaded the Dentulu app, registered as a dental provider and before long, I started receiving calls for service on a consistent basis.  I was well on my way to becoming a Tele Dentist, providing tele dentistry services.

I entered the field of dentistry to help people and to provide a service that helped people. I knew I wanted a profession that was both meaningful, and financially rewarding at the same time.  Therefore, when this new tele dentist opportunity arose, to say I was excited would be an understatement.  I was now traveling across town, here in the greater Los Angeles area up to 6 days per week.  I was going into office buildings, adult care facilities, assisted living units, houses, and pretty much every kind of living complex you can think of.  I became a mobile dental expert!
